Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Galley ("we") governing your use of the Galley platform at galley.media. By creating an account you accept them.

1. What Galley is

Galley is an AI-assisted editorial platform: it helps your team create briefs, generate article drafts, run editorial checks, and export or publish the result. AI features are powered by third-party model providers.

2. Your account and workspace

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Workspace admins are responsible for the accounts they create for team members. You must be 16 or older.

3. AI-generated content - no guarantees

You understand and accept that:

  • AI-generated text may contain errors, omissions, or fabrications, even after checks.
  • Galley's fact-checking, uniqueness, and review tools are assistive. They reduce risk; they do not eliminate it and are not a guarantee of accuracy, originality, or legal compliance.
  • You are solely responsible for content you approve, export, or publish. Review it before publication as you would any editorial material.

4. Your content and ownership

Your briefs, materials, and generated articles are yours. We claim no ownership of your content. You grant us the limited license needed to store and process it for the sole purpose of providing the service, including sending it to AI and search providers as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the rights to any materials you upload as references.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Galley to produce content that is unlawful, defamatory, or deliberately misleading, including presenting fabricated facts as verified;
  • abuse free trials through multiple trial workspaces for the same person or organization, disposable accounts, or automated farming;
  • probe, disrupt, or overload the service, or attempt to access other teams' data;
  • resell or provide the service to third parties as your own without our agreement.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. Trials, plans, and limits

The free trial runs for 14 days with published limits: articles, team members, and AI tool runs. We may adjust trial parameters or end a trial in case of abuse. Paid access is currently arranged individually; contact us. There is no self-serve billing yet. Limits for paid plans are set in your agreement with us.

7. Third-party services

Some features depend on third parties, including AI model providers, web search, SEO data, and WordPress. Their availability is outside our control, and connecting your own integrations, such as a WordPress site, is at your discretion and responsibility.

8. Availability

Galley is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of uninterrupted operation. We may change, add, or remove features. We will not intentionally degrade a service you are actively paying for without notice.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability under these terms is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. For free trials, that amount is zero. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data on third-party platforms, or consequences of publishing AI-generated content.

10. Termination

You may stop using Galley and request account deletion at any time. We may terminate accounts for violation of these terms, with notice where practicable. Sections 3, 4, and 9 survive termination.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in the product, and the effective date updated. Questions: info@galley.media.
